About the Project

The Riptide Trading Card Project is a reoccuring collaborative art event that originated at Riptide 2022 in Sandusky, Ohio.Each year, participating artists each create artwork for a trading card under a single theme and hand them out to LAN attendees to bridge Splatoon artists and comp players together.The theme for 2025 is "Grandfest Memories!!"The project has grown exponentially. In 2022-2023, we had just 11 artists. In 2024 we grew to 26 artists. This year we have 37 wonderful artists!!!
